A variety of themes in the shaping of this set. At the exception of a few holds all of the holds provide their own unique challenge. Some force the climber to "dig" their finger into the crimp, again prolonging the period between grabbing and holding the hold. The shell type jug forces fingers appart all good characteristics that mimic the outdoor demands of climbing. In this kit, you have more standard gym shapes, crimps and jugs but all of them have a little something special that really makes these shape so valuable to home gyms and those wanting to set problems more closely comparable to outdoor climbing. While the holds aren't scans or created to visually mimic outdoor holds, their shapes will bring challenges to even the most experienced of climbers. All holds can be used on walls of less than 90deg. up to about 50deg. overhung. A few of the jugs can be used on ceilings.
